Zach meets Santa

Friday, November 27, 2009

Zach loved trying to take a bite out of Dad's apple. He would fuss everytime Jim would pull it away from him. He would sink his one tooth into the apple.
Zach loving his bath time!!!!

Here is Zach's last picture we had done at Portrait Innovations. He had just turned 6 months old.

Picture is little blurry but loved the smile.

Zach loves his exersaucer!!! He is definitely a jumper.

Eating is one of Zach's favorite times of day. He will eat about anything you put in front of him. His favorite is probably sweet potatoes and pears.

Zach has been eating food for a couple of weeks now. He doesn't seem to have any problem figuring that out. He loves his rice cereal with a little fruit in it. He loves sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, applesauce, and pears. The only thing that he isn't crazy about is green beans.
I weighed him the other day, and he weighed in at 15.2 pounds. We go on September 14 for his 4 month check-up. He rolled over for the first time last week. He is growing so fast. He loves to watch the dogs.

King's Island

We took our last Friday before Abby goes back to school to visit King's Island one last time.

Grandma and Grandpa Morgan

Abby had stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Morgan's house for the weekend. We met at Bob Evan's to pick Abby up. Zach was so sleepy he couldn't stay awake for the picture.

2nd Trip to King's Island

We have season passes to the amusement park here in Cincinnati. We ventured there yesterday. Zach once again was so pleasant. Zach and Abby also got to meet Scooby Doo.

Zach loves to sleep in his swing. He also loves to cuddle with that specific blanket. You can always catch him hugging his blankie.

He usually wakes up pleasant from his naps.

We were at a friend's birthday party, and we got this picture. He looks so grown up. He was 10 weeks old in this shot.

1st Visit to Grandma and Grandpa's

This was our first visit to Holly's parents house. Abby was spending the week with them, and I was staying for a few days. My parents couldn't get enough of Zach. The second picture is of my sister and my niece. Obviously, they loved him to pieces. The last picture is of Abby and Zach sporting their new shirts from Grandma (Zach's Big Sister and Abby's little brother).

1st Trip to King's Island

We had visited King's Island for the first time. This is how Zach spent most of his day there. He was so good. He really just slept and ate. Occasionally he would hang out in the stroller taking in the sights.

Brother/Sister

We were getting ready to go to church. Didn't even realize when I took the picture that they matched. Cute!!!

Ohio State!!! Go Buckeyes

Jim is a big Ohio State fan, so lots of our friends bought him some OSU attire. I know that Zach and Dad will be watching football every Saturday to watch their Buckeye team.
Zach was 2 months old at the time I took this picture.

Family Time

I had been working around the house, and I walked into the living room to see the kids sleeping on Jim. I had to get a picture of this. So sweet!!!!

Big Sis meets Little Brother

Abby was so excited to see us. As soon as she got off the bus that day, she started sprinting to the house. She started crying as soon as she hit the driveway. She has always wanted to be that big sister and now she finally is!!!!

Here is a picture of that proud sister. This is the first day we had been home. At the time of this picture, we might have been home for about 2 hours.

Welcome Zachary

All I can say is, check out that weight!!!!

I still remember that moment like it was yesterday. I couldn't believe after wanting to add to our family for 7 whole years, that time had finally come. Zachary James was and is so perfect in every way. We still count our blessings everyday.
